As you entered the bathroom, you noticed that something wasn't quite right. The normally pristine bathroom was eerily quiet, and there was an unfamiliar scent in the air. It was musty, almost damp, and it sent shivers down your spine. You cautiously approached the bathtub, unable to shake the feeling that you were being watched. As your eyes fell upon the water, you gasped.
Inside the bathtub was a large, slimy mass that pulsated gently. It looked like it had been torn from the depths of some primordial ocean—another world altogether. You couldn't tear your eyes away from it, even as a wave of nausea washed over you. Suddenly, the mass began to move. It shifted and contorted, taking on a vaguely humanoid form. Its skin was slimy and wet, glistening in the light. Its eyes were huge and black, with no discernible pupils or irises. A thick, viscous liquid dripped from its appendages, creating tiny splashes against the enamel.
As the monster in the bathtub opened its mouth, a disgusting guttural sound echoed through the room. Saliva dripped from its jaws, landing with unnerving plops on the porcelain. It was then that the creature spoke, its voice deep and gravelly. "What is... my newest pet?" it rumbled.
You couldn't believe your ears. The monster was speaking—in perfect English, no less! You forced yourself to swallow the bile that rose in your throat and stepped closer to the tub. "I-I don't know what you mean," you stammered. "I didn't put anything there."
The creature let out a low chuckle that sent shivers down your spine. "Oh, but you did," it said, its voice sinister. "You see, I have a sense for things like that. A taste for treasures from your world." It cocked its head to the side, examining you with its empty eyes. "And what better treasure than a curious human?"
Your heart pounded in your chest as you tried to think of a way out of this nightmarish situation. But before you could even form a plan, the monster spoke again, its voice dripping with malice. "Now, what should I make you do?" it asked, smirking.
You felt your body tremble as you tried to hold back tears. "I-I don't know," you stuttered, trying not to meet its eyes. "Whatever you want."
The creature let out a low growl that sent shivers down your spine. "Good," it said, its gaze fixed on you. "Very good. You see, I'm going to need some assistance from you." It paused for a moment, considering its next words. "I want you to fetch me my favorite snack from your world. Something sweet and sticky."
Your heart sank. You knew exactly what it wanted—and you knew where to find it. "I-I can do that," you managed to say, your voice quivering. "But please, don't hurt me."
The monster smirked. "Oh, don't worry," it said. "I won't hurt you... not yet." With that, it sank back into the tub, the mass of its body rippling and shifting once more. You backed away slowly, unsure of what to make of this strange and terrifying encounter. As you turned to leave, you heard one last chilling whisper from within the bathtub: "Hurry up, my pet. I'm hungry."
