As the warm summer breeze blew through the city streets, a young woman clad in a stylish leather jacket hurried down the sidewalk, her striking, high-heeled boots click-clacking against the pavement. She was in a rush and didn't notice the public restroom just up ahead until it was too late - her bladder was about to burst.
The sight that greeted her inside was not pretty. The bathroom stank of urine and feces, and the only available toilet had a large puddle of water around it. Not wanting to wait any longer, she decided to take matters into her own hands - quite literally.
Taking a deep breath through her nose, she pulled down her leather pants and started peeing right there on the filthy floor. It felt good to relieve herself after holding it for so long, and she didn't care who might see or smell her. After a few seconds, she finished and zipped up her pants again, trying not to gag from the overpowering stench.
As she turned to leave, she noticed a pair of running shoes lying on the ground by the other toilet stall. Curiosity getting the better of her, she peeked inside to see what someone might have been doing there. Her jaw dropped in disbelief - someone had defecated on the floor and left it there for everyone to see!
Feeling a sense of righteous indignation, she reached into her purse and pulled out a roll of toilet paper. With resolve in her eyes, she marched over to the offending mess and started wiping it up. It was disgusting work, but she couldn't bear the thought of anyone else having to step in it.
After a few minutes of cleaning, she finally managed to get most of the excrement off the floor. Buoyed by her small act of kindness, she plastered on a fake smile and hurried out of the restroom, determined not to let anything slow her down again.
Even as she continued down the busy street, she couldn't shake off the grimy feeling that clung to her like a second skin. She swore that next time she saw a public restroom, she'd make sure it was cleaner before using it. And maybe she'd even leave a note for the person who left such a mess behind - because no one deserves to live in a world where they have nowhere clean to go.
