Katelyn wiped the sweat off her forehead as she finished unpacking the last of the cartons into her new house. She had moved in only two weeks ago and was still getting used to the solitude of living alone. Her friends were all busy with their lives, or married with children, so she didn't have anyone to share the chores with. But then something exciting happened. She received a message from an old friend she had made during her exchange program in college, Tatianna.
The message read, "Hey gurl! remember me? I'm coming to visit you. Miss your ass!" Katelyn's heart skipped a beat; Tatianna was her only female friend from those days and they had always had a good time together. They had lost touch after college but kept in touch on social media. Katelyn was thrilled to hear from her again and quickly responded with a cheerful "Yes, I remember you! Of course, you're always welcome here!"
The day of Tatianna's arrival finally came. Katelyn waited anxiously at the front door, wondering how much her friend had changed in all these years. As soon as she heard the knock, she flung the door open with a beaming smile. There stood Tatianna, looking more breathtaking than ever before. Her raven hair cascaded down her back in silky waves, and her plush lips curled into a mischievous smile that sent shivers down Katelyn's spine. She wore a tight black dress that hugged her curves just right and high heels that made her look even taller than before.
"Wow! You haven't changed a bit," Tatianna exclaimed as they hugged tightly. They caught up on old times over drinks and snacks, chatting about their past experiences and catching up on each other's lives. As the night grew older, they decided to take things slow - ordering some pizza and watching TV together. But Katelyn noticed something peculiar about Tatianna; she seemed really restless, constantly shifting positions on the couch.
"Are you okay?" Katelyn asked, concerned.
"Just... feeling a bit gassy," Tatianna replied sheepishly, giving a little giggle. It turned out that Tatianna had been dealing with some digestive issues lately and was constantly bloated. They both laughed it off, thinking it was just nerves from travelling or something she ate.
The next day, Tatianna suggested they explore the city together. They had a great time walking through the parks, checking out street markets, and even visiting the beach. But as they were walking back home, Tatianna's stomach started acting up again. She excused herself every now and then, saying she needed to pee. Katelyn offered to take her to the nearest restroom but was met with hesitation from Tatianna.
"No no, it's fine. I'm just really full from all that food we ate," Tatianna explained, trying to act natural. But Katelyn could tell there was more to it than that. She watched closely as they headed towards home, and sure enough, Tatianna's restlessness returned. Katelyn offered to make them some tea to settle her stomach but again, Tatianna declined.
That night, they decided to have a girls' night in. They ordered pizza again, watched some romantic comedy, and even did each other's nails. But as they were chatting about their days, Tatianna suddenly stood up mid-sentence and hurried to the bathroom. Katelyn could hear her flushing the toilet multiple times, and when she returned, she was still uncomfortable.
"Maybe you should see a doctor when you get back home," Katelyn suggested gently.
"Nah, it's just some digestive issues. We've all had that before," Tatianna replied dismissively. But deep down, Katelyn wondered what was going on. She watched over her friend throughout the night, making sure she was comfortable and offering anything she needed.
The next morning, Tatianna woke up with a start. She felt bloated and uncomfortable again, but this time it was worse. She excused herself yet again, saying she needed to go have a bowel movement. Katelyn offered to accompany her, but Tatianna politely declined, saying she could use some privacy. She disappeared into the bathroom for quite some time, making odd noises that made Katelyn squirm.
When she finally emerged, Tatianna looked flushed but relieved. She confessed to Katelyn that she had some issues with her bowel movements for a while now. She tried explaining the symptoms to Katelyn, who listened patiently but was still unsure of what to make of it all. Tatianna promised she would see a doctor once she got back home.
As the days passed by, Tatianna's symptoms only got worse. She was constantly visiting the bathroom, complaining of feeling constipated or having diarrhea. She even tried various home remedies prescribed by her mother, but nothing seemed to work. One day, in a moment of vulnerability, she confessed to Katelyn that she had started using laxatives and enemas to relieve her discomfort but only made things worse.
Katelyn was worried, she couldn't imagine her friend going through this alone. She suggested they make an appointment for Tatianna to see a doctor as soon as possible, but Tatianna refused, saying she wanted to wait until she got home. But as the day turned into night, Tatianna's stomach started acting up again. She was doubled over in pain, tears welling up in her eyes as she tried to hold it in.
Seeing Tatianna suffering like this broke Katelyn's heart. She insisted they go to the nearest hospital right away. Overcome with fear and embarrassment, Tatianna finally agreed. They drove there in silence, neither of them knowing what to expect. Once they arrived, they were taken in for some tests. After hours of waiting, the doctor informed them that Tatianna was suffering from a severe case of constipation and recommended she undergo surgery to fix her bowel issues.
As Tatianna was wheeled into surgery, Katelyn sat anxiously by her side, holding her hand tightly. She vowed to be there for her friend through thick and thin, no matter what it took. The days that followed were tough on both of them – Tatianna had to stay in the hospital for weeks while recovering, and Katelyn visited her every day after work. They shared laughter and tears, support and love, and grew even closer than before.
Finally, the day came when Tatianna was discharged from the hospital. She was still recovering but felt so much better already. They decided to throw a quiet celebration at Katelyn's place, just the two of them. As they laughed and reminisced about their college days, Tatianna confronted Katelyn with a strange request.
"So," she started, her brown eyes shining with mischief, "Remember how you used to poop on camera for me back in college?"
Katelyn blushed bright red at the memory, of how freely they had shared their bathroom experiences during their all-girls' dormitory days. She nodded, unsure of where this conversation was going.
"I was wondering if… you know, maybe we could do it again? But this time, I could join you." Tatianna grinned slyly. Katelyn's heart raced at the thought of sharing this intimate experience with her friend once more. They both knew they were no longer in the innocent days of college, but something about this felt right.
And so, they did it. They shared their most intimate moments together once more – laughing, chatting, and even occasionally using each other's toilets. Strangely enough, it brought them closer than ever before. They vowed to always be there for each other, through thick and thin, through poop and pee. Their bond was unbreakable, sealed by their shared experiences of vulnerability and trust. And in those moments, Katelyn realized that Tatianna was not just her friend; she was a sister she never knew she had.
