As the sun peeked over the horizon, hinting at the start of a new day, a young man named Chris still nestled into his warm cozy bed. His eyes had just begun to flutter open when something caught his attention. The gentle rhythmic sound of a series of loud splashes resonated in the air. Confused, Chris sat up straighter, trying to place the origin of the noise.
It wasn't long before he realized it was coming from the bathroom. Curiosity getting the best of him, Chris swung his legs over the side of the bed and padded towards the source of the strange noise. He reached the doorway just in time to see his roommate, Tom, standing up from the toilet, his expression frozen in a combination of shock and embarrassment.
"Uh... Tom? Are you okay?" Chris asked hesitantly, feeling a blush creeping up his cheeks as he took in the sight before him. Tom was standing with his pants still around his ankles and a slightly confused look on his face. In one hand were bunched up wads of toilet paper, and in the other was a digital scale.
"Yeah, I'm good. Just... uh... doing some experiments," Tom stuttered out, quickly scurrying back to the sink to wash his hands. Chris couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the comment. He'd never known Tom to be particularly interested in science experiments, let alone ones involving his own poop!
Feeling a combination of intrigue and disgust, Chris approached the toilet cautiously. As he peered down into the bowl, he caught sight of what Tom had been up to. There, in the water, floated several globs of bright pink doughnut-like shapes. On the counter next to the sink sat a large jar filled with what Chris could only assume were more of these strange objects.
"Tom, those are just like the ones Grandma used to make!" Chris blurted out, remembering the old family recipe for his grandmother's famous homemade candies. His eyes widened in horror at the thought of his roommate actually consuming these strange looking treats.
Tom turned around, his face flushing a deep shade of red. "I, uh... yeah, well, I was just, um... seeing if they could be made stiffer," he stammered, still clearly uncomfortable about the whole situation.
Chris couldn't help but laugh at the sheer absurdity of it all. Here was his roommate, standing in the bathroom, playing with his own poop, trying to make it into some kind of candy! It was like something out of a weird fraternity prank or a bizarre episode of "My Strange Addiction."
Despite his initial shock and disgust, Chris couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity about Tom's weird pastime. Perhaps it was human nature to be fascinated by the strange and unusual behaviors of others. Or maybe it was just the thought of trying one of these peculiar-looking treats...
Either way, Chris decided to approach the situation with an open mind. After all, you never knew when a chance encounter with your roommate's double trouble could lead to unexpected discoveries.
