The sun was shining brightly through the window, casting a warm glow over everything in sight. Cory Chase stretched lazily in bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she yawned deeply. She felt bloated and heavy, like a balloon about to pop any second. Last night's dinner had been incredible - her husband had taken her out to their favorite restaurant for an anniversary celebration. They had ordered way too much food and drank way too much wine, but it had tasted amazing.
As she lay there savoring the memories of their indulgence, a sudden, sharp pain coursed through her abdomen. She groaned softly, rolling over onto her side. Oh God, what did I eat last night? She thought to herself as the pain intensified. I think I overdid it a bit...
She slowly sat up, her stomach heaving slightly as she fought back waves of nausea. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down as she looked around for her bathrobe. Finding it finally, she wrapped herself up tightly, hoping the warmth would help her feel a little better.
She padded her way into the bathroom, carefully sitting down on the cold porcelain toilet seat. She groaned again, this time in relief, as she let out a massive fart that almost made her fall off the toilet seat. "Ugh, that tasted awful," she muttered to herself with a laugh, wiping her brow with the back of her hand.
Taking a deep breath, she steeled herself for what was about to come next. She knew it was going to be rough, but she just hoped she wouldn't need to call a plumber afterward. With another groan, she leaned forward, placing her free hand on her swollen belly. She closed her eyes, taking deep breaths as she pushed... and pushed... and pushed.
Minutes passed, and the pain seemed to intensify with each contraction. Sweat beaded on her forehead, and her breathing became ragged. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she felt something loosening inside of her. With one final push, it erupted out of her, landing with a wet splat in the toilet bowl.
She let out a massive sigh of relief, leaning back against the cool tiles of the bathroom wall. Her stomach heaved again, but this time it was from exhaustion rather than pain or nausea. She wiped her brow again, looking down at the mess in the toilet bowl. Oh my God, I think I really did eat too much last night.
She grimaced, wondering if she should call a plumber or if she could handle it herself. Maybe I can just plug it? She thought to herself, reaching for the nearby plunger. She gave it a tentative push, wincing at the splash it made. Nothing. She tried again, harder this time, but still nothing.
Frustrated, she leaned forward, reaching into the cold water with her hand. Yuck! It feels so nasty in there! She thought, trying not to gag as she grabbed a handful of the thick, creamy mass that had been released from her bowels. With a grimace, she slowly pulled it out of the water and onto the toilet seat.
Looking at the mixture of undigested food, water, and who knows what else, she couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed. I never thought I'd be in this situation, she mused, taking a deep breath and reaching for the plunger again. Determined this time, she pushed down hard on the handle, watching in horror as the lid of the toilet bowl shot up into the air along with most of the contents.
Oh no! This is a disaster! She thought, scrambling to her feet as the mixture sloshed around on the bathroom floor. In her haste to get up, she lost her footing and fell backwards, landing unceremoniously in a heap on the floor.
Rolling over onto her side, she groaned, slowly pushing herself up into a sitting position. Her stomach still churned, and she was starting to feel a little lightheaded. Maybe I should have called a plumber after all, she thought miserably, glancing around at the mess that was now her bathroom floor.
With one last sigh, she forced herself to her feet, grabbing a mop and some cleaning supplies off the shelf. It was going to be a long, messy morning, but at least she could say she had tried her best to handle things on her own. As she started to clean up the mess, she couldn't help but chuckle to herself. Maybe next time we'll just order smaller portions, okay honey?
