Abby arrived home early from work, eager to catch up with her friend, Anna. The two women had been best friends since childhood and shared everything, including their lives and now, a bathroom. They had moved in together last year when Abby's long-term relationship had ended, and it had seemed like the perfect solution.
Abby quickly changed into her comfiest clothes and headed straight towards the bathroom, feeling the familiar urge to relieve herself. She sat on the toilet seat, feeling the coolness of it against her heat. As always, she took her time, enjoying the comfort of knowing that her best friend was nearby.
She closed her eyes, lost in thought, and before she knew it, she had finished her business. She stood up, grimacing at the mess left behind. Thick, meaty turds were spread all over the toilet bowl, and she knew that cleaning it would be quite a task.
As she started cleaning up, she heard the bathroom door open. It was Anna, just returning home from work. Abby sighed, shaking her head. She wished Anna could be more careful when using the bathroom; it wasn't like they were strangers in a public place.
"Hey, Abby," Anna said, walking in. She looked at the mess around the toilet and froze. "Oh my god, what happened here? Did someone else use the bathroom while you were cleaning?"
Abby turned around, staring at Anna. She couldn't believe she had forgotten all about the mess again. "No, it was just me. I didn't have time to wait, so I had to go," she explained, feeling guilty.
Anna shook her head, looking disappointed. "Abby, we agreed that we would clean up after ourselves when we share the bathroom. This isn't fair to me," she said, voice raised.
Abby lowered her head, feeling ashamed. She knew that Anna was right; they had made a pact to keep the bathroom clean for both of them. "I'm sorry, Anna. I know I messed up," she admitted, ready to take responsibility for her action.
Anna sighed, running a hand through her hair. "It's okay, Abby. We all make mistakes. Just promise me that you'll be more careful next time, okay?" she said, smiling softly.
Abby nodded, determined to do better. "I promise. I'll try my best not to leave any skid marks in the future," she said, giving Anna a reassuring hug.
The two women finished their conversation and went about their evening, knowing that they had each other's backs no matter what. Even though there was the occasional mishap, they knew that their friendship was strong enough to weather any storm.
